Workshops for parents
There is only one expert when it comes to your child: you. However, the experiences of other parents can often provide reassurance as well as new ideas; whilst the input of professionals can offer information based on research evidence and clinical experience, as well as support in implementing new ideas. The workshop sessions I offer aim to combine and maximise these sources of support to you as a parent.
The workshop sessions offered are grouped together with the aim that each session builds on the previous one to provide parents with a solid theoretical foundation for positive parenting (see FAQ for more information about the theoretical foundation of the sessions). The sessions are intended to be collaborative, informal and supportive and provide opportunity for lots of discussion and questions, as well as for parents to bring examples from their own family contexts if they wish.

If you have particular interests not covered by the sessions available (e.g. particular parenting approaches or particular child behaviours), individual sessions can usually be provided - please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
